Full description
Gran Canaria offers the most extravagant experiences in the Canary Islands. From cave diving to mountain bike downhills, you can find everything. The island is the only one that offers a tandem skydiving experience.
A tandem skydive is a great way to experience the thrill of freefall for the first time.
After only a short briefing where you will learn the body position for the exit, free fall, and landing you are ready to go. The instructors will provide you with a tandem skydive overview while fitting the harness you will wear for your skydive. Your instructor will then inspect the parachute system and you will be ready to board the aircraft for your Skydive.
Once all jumpers have boarded the plane, the pilot will take off and start climbing to our jump altitude.
Then comes the most thrilling part.. stepping out of the airplane into the blue sky. You and your tandem instructor will jump out of the aircraft and free-fall for 30 to 40 seconds. It sure will be the most unforgettable experience of your holiday. As you reach 1200 meters the parachute opens and comes to a relaxing parachute flight which will take about 5-8 minutes.
